Sr. Manager, Training and Change Management (Finance Transformation)

SPE's Finance Transformation – Organizational Enablement team is responsible for enabling SPE Finance employees and projects globally to be successful through effective organizational change management strategies, and relevant training and development opportunities. The Sr. Manager will work with the Organizational Enablement team, project teams, Finance, IT, and People and Organization (P&O) to develop training and Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategies, plans, and best practices. The Sr. Manager will be responsible for building out toolkits and methodologies and training project teams to apply them. This role is responsible for advancing the adoption of changes and finance employees' development. The role will interface with all SPE lines of business globally.
Responsibilities:
Advance the training and development roadmap for Finance in partnership with P&O:
• Drive the training and development strategy and roadmap to support the onboarding experience and the Finance competency model
• Periodically conduct needs assessment, and curate and manage core training resources
• Partner with other departments to drive further adoption of agreed systems, processes, policies, etc.
Provide collaborative leadership to project teams on training:
• Develop and share a training toolkit, including best practices, templates, and other resources
• Guide teams to develop training needs assessments, training strategies and plans, and curriculum definition for various projects
Enable Organizational Change Management (OCM):
• Guide teams to develop OCM strategies and plans for various projects through structured methodologies to support adoption of the changes implemented by a project or initiative.
• Contribute to creation and management of an OCM toolkit, especially the training/adoption components
Other responsibilities
• Support the Finance Rotational Associate Program
• Proactively engage various stakeholders in key development areas
• Stays current with learning and adoptions methodologies and technologies
• Build and maintain other resources to help finance employees be more effective
• Build and maintain strong relationship with key stakeholders across SPE
• Support Finance Transformation and Enablement special projects
Qualifications:
Education
• Bachelor's degree required
• Master's degree preferred
• Common OCM and/or Training/Learning/Instructional Design certifications
Experience in
• 5 years of experience in organizational change management
• 7 years of experience in learning and development/training
• Working in an OCM or training capacity on transformational projects/programs, including system implementation and process improvement
• Developing training needs assessments, training curriculum,
• Working with global stakeholders and end users
• Leveraging adoption tools, such as SAP Enable Now and WalkMe
• Coaching others through a transformational change
• Media and Entertainment or closely working with finance teams (Optional)
Knowledge of
• Industry standard training and development methodologies and practices
• Industry standard OCM methodologies and practices
• Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) (Optional)
Skill in
• Analyzing data to come up with recommendations
• Presenting and communicating across all levels of the organization
• Instructional design
• Office applications (e.g., Microsoft suite), Learning Management Systems (e.g., Cornerstone), and eLearning content development (e.g., Captivate, Storyline)
• Graphic design (Optional)
Ability to
• Manage priorities, schedules, and deadlines
• Identify the behavioral changes necessary for the successful implementation of change
• Analyze issues and come up with practical recommendations
• Develop and maintain relationships and trust
• Measure impact of training and development and/or change management
