People Analytics Internship -Summer 2022 (Hybrid)
Overview
This summer our Internship Program will be a hybrid program. A hybrid program means interns will be expected to come into their designated office location about 3 times a week. All internships will be hybrid unless explicitly stated as a remote opportunity.
(This Hybrid opportunity is located in Silver Spring, Maryland).
Responsibilities
Overview: We are the People Technology group under the business systems department overseeing the development and roadmap of products that supports Discovery's most important assets, its people. This intern role will specifically focus on people analytics.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be working alongside Business to understand the requirements, prioritization, go-to-market strategies, and change management. You will liaise with the technical product manager to translate functional requirements into technical specifications, learn the basics of the SCRUM framework, work with integrations, databases, and testing teams to understand the ideas to the inception process. You will get familiarity with the tech stack used at Discovery for people analytics that includes various data sources such as SuccessFactors, Fieldglass, SAP CPI middleware, SAP BW data warehouse, and Tableau visualization tool.
Qualifications
* Must be currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship)
* Must be a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student
* Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
* Undergrad or grad in Analytics, data science, computer science
* Database queries, SQL, project management and problem-solving

• Our Summer 2022 program will run from Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 to Friday, August 19, 2022.
• The?application deadline for Summer 2022 is Friday, March, 4th. After this date, we cannot guarantee your application will be reviewed for the position.
• Our internships are paid opportunities. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired.
