Job Title: Assistant Video Editor
Department: Productions
Reports To: Manager & Producer, Video Productions
Status: Seasonal
Primary Objective: The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Baseball Club is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to assist the Mariners Video Production Department in video editing and content creation. This is an opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced creative environment.
Essential Functions:
• Assist with producing content for multiple Mariners platforms
• Help shoot, edit and create motion graphics, with an emphasis on video editing
• Edit raw footage, such as interviews, green screen clips and b-roll, for video features
• Create animations for the T-Mobile Park LED Displays
• Edit/Update AE templates for video features
• Assist with making headshots, promo screens, presentation photos, and scoreboard messages
• Work control room positions on game days as needed
• Help load/manage video and graphic content
• Assist in logging and archiving of video content
• Fulfill internal and external video requests
• Support department with various administrative functions
• Will perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One (1) year relevant work experience required.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, specifically Premiere, AfterEffects & Photoshop
• Basic understanding of video production equipment
• Experience using production cameras, such as the Sony FS7 and a7s cameras.
• Strong
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Shares and expresses thoughts in a clear and effective manner through verbal and written communication skills. Exhibits effective listening skills and builds positive relationships with all team members, vendors, and guests. Is diplomatic, tactful and professional in all forms of communication.
