Full-time Elementary Suzuki Violin Teacher

Profile

: The Wichita Falls Youth Symphony Orchestra seeks a Suzuki violin teacher for a community music academy. WFYSO works with area schools to provide K-5 students strings instruction on elementary campuses. Students receive a weekly private lesson attended by parents and a weekly group class.
Duties
: Full-time, 5 days instruction per week. Teach and organize private and group Suzuki lessons in elementary schools. Teachers will be expected to attend recitals/rehearsals and special events that relate to the Academy. School year: August-May.
Qualifications
: Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education or Violin Performance and registered Suzuki training.
Salary
: Base salary $35,525 (based on nine-month commitment).
