SUMMARY:
We're seeking a Retail Assistant to support our Paramount Studio Store on Paramount Studios' lot!! This is a creative, fast-paced, customer facing position assisting the Studio Store Manager in the day-to-day operations. The Retail Assistant will focus heavily on in-person customer service, sales floor merchandising and back-end merchandise. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working alone, or with the Coffee Bean team who shares a portion of the store. Work hours are currently 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday. Once Covid19 company restrictions are lifted, work hours will likely become 9:30am - 6:00pm, with some weekends as needed.Â
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist the Store Manager by managing all inventory levels in stockroom (soft-lines, hard-lines and DVD's) and working with internal systems to maintain accurate levels
• Maintain a clean and orderly stockroom
• Coordinate the daily transfer of merchandise from the stockroom/warehouse to the store, including informing the Store Manager of what needs to be re-ordered from the warehouse
• Assist the Store Manager in the re-ordering and product development process of merchandise
• Oversee the tagging and stocking of all merchandise
• Provide excellent customer service to all levels of studio personnel and guests by handling any concerns or inquires
• Perform cash register duties as needed
• Assist the Store Manager in visual merchandising, promotional opportunities and executive services
• Assist the Store Manager with creating a welcoming environment through creative and visual merchandising efforts
• Perform weekly cycle counts by assisting the Store Manager with departmental special orders, billing, and guest requests and concerns
• Participate in special projects as requested
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 3 years of experience in retail with an emphasis in warehouse/stocking operations
• Ability to sit, stand, bend and lift up to 30 lbs on a regular basis
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in merchandising is preferred
• Good mathematical and analytical abilities
• Proficient in Excel, Word and data entryÂ
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service and phone edicate skills
• Self-motivated, self-starter
• Ability to work store hours as stated above
• Valid driver's license (for driving golf cart on studio lot as needed)
