Profile

: Join the team of talented and distinguished teachers at our long-established and highly reputable music school. Continue a thriving guitar program with a full load of students already in place. We teach beginners, advanced, children and adults alike. Start in mid-January, 2022.
Duties
: Teach guitar lessons in a private studio setting to a range of students from beginners to advanced, children to adults. Organize and lead group guitar sessions for students in the program. Prepare students for fall and spring recitals and forge collaborations with colleagues.
Qualifications
: A bachelor’s degree with a specialization in guitar or equivalent professional and/or performing experience. Classical guitar background and/or Suzuki Guitar teaching certification. Desirable: track record of teaching young, beginning students in particular, in the 5 years and older range.
Salary
: Commensurate with experience. Position will be for an independent contractor on an hourly rate, on the high end and very competitive for the area in which we are located.
