: Omaha Conservatory of Music is looking for a full-time violin Artist-Faculty member. Omaha Conservatory is a non-profit 501(c)(3) school that builds musical community through education and performance to enrich lives. To learn more about our organization, please visit omahacm.org
Duties
: -Provide weekly private lessons for students ages 3
-Instruct group strings classes as assigned
-Attend faculty meetings and school events
-Maintain studio schedule and attendance records
-Communicate with studio families
-Possible String Sprouts teaching opportunities
Qualifications
: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance or Music Education and 3 years of experience; Master’s Degree or DMA and Suzuki Training through unit 6 or beyond preferred. Proficiency in viola is a bonus. Availability to teach a variety of weeknights 3-9pm and weekends is required for this position.
