Creative Lead

Houston - United States

The Creative Lead will report to the Performance Management (PM) Communications and Engagement Manager, with main responsibility of ideation, development and creation of branding, design, and photo/video support for all communication and engagement initiatives the functions within PM. This includes meeting with Communications leads and stakeholders to create visual supporting material for use in campaigns in mainly internal channels. Creative output will be planned and created based on engagement with relevant stakeholders and aligned with overall PM initiatives and KPOs.

The Creative Lead also take on special projects when needed which support the overall PM communications team.

The Creative Lead will ensure that creative output from PM is up the Schlumberger standards and in line with the Schlumberger brand standards, communications handbook, and other guiding principles.

Role and Responsibilities:


Plan and prepare creative output for communications campaigns aligned with functions and PM strategy and KPOs
Visual identity
Campaign material, e.g. banners, posters, emails, etc
Presentation material, e.g. powerpoint
Video creative input
Photo creative input
Creative direction of external vendors (photo/video)
Idea creation for new looks as part of specific campaigns
How to improve content in already existing channels using visual design
Policing brand and identity of PM and functions
Other support for PM communications department (powerpoint presentation, webcasts, special events, etc)


Qualifications and Experience:


Educational background in Graphic Design / Art Direction.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural team
Service-minded and user centric mindset
Strong attention to detail and quality of output
Excellent proficiency of oral and written English
Knowledge of digital communications best practices, tactics and related KPIs.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro)
Notion of video creation and editing is a plus.
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
