Assistant Worship Minister

Flint Baptist Church is a fast-growing church committed to reaching people for Christ and growing them in their faith. We are located in Flint, Texas just south of Tyler, Texas.
The Assistant Worship Minister will assist the Worship Paster/Minister of Music in all areas of the Worship Ministry. The perfect candidate would have a strong background in leading a Worship Choir with technical skills to assist the Tech Ministry. A degree in Music is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Lead and continue to develop a Worship Choir
Help recruit new choir members from within the church
Work collaboratively with the Minister of Music/Worship Pastor in the selection of music
Direct the choir during weekly rehearsals, weekend worship, and major musical events
Fill in for the Minister of Music/Worship Pastor as needed
Help plan, schedule, lead, and coordinate the Sunday Worship Services
Other responsibilities may include:
Ability to assist the Tech Ministry with Run FOB and Broadcast Sound
Ability to program and run house and stage lighting
Ability to assist with video production for streaing and recording
Organizational skills and flexibility with last minute changes
