Job Description:
A little bit about our team:
WMX Creative Services is a global full-service merchandise art department that offers creative direction and support for WMG licensed artists and labels. We strive to enhance all areas of the business by providing concepts and expertise in design, visualization, and content to continuously match the evolution of the industry.
Your role:
The Art Production Coordinator is responsible for the pre-production and post-production of music merchandise related art. The position reports into the Art Production Manager and will be responsible for the execution of all in-house pre-production and post-production needs. This includes but is not limited to processing, comping, sizing of files / assets for production, and facilitating art between the Creative team, the department Art Coordinator, separators, production and vendors.
Here you'll get to:
• You will be responsible for pre-production of all external and internal art
• You will be responsible for post-production issues and questions from our production team and/or vendors
• You will collaborate with vendors on development and art requirements for specialized products and product lines
• You will prepare and collect files for output to commercial printers and vendors
• You will traffic projects through approvals and production
• You will work with production team to assure design integrity, content accuracy and quality control throughout production
• You will handle light administrative tasks
About you:
• You have expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop & Illustrator)
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel & Word)
• You have excellent organizational skills
• You are detail-orientated
We'd love it if you also had:
• College Degree (preferred) or equivalent business experience
• At least 2 years graphic design experience
• Passion for music and art
