Responsibilities
: CNBC is looking for a multiplatform video distribution coordinator. The qualified candidate should be familiar with all of the CNBC brands, be a strategic thinker, familiar with working in a breaking news environment and have a passion for the news.
Job duties:
• Responsible for curating the CNBC app on OTT
• Program off net platforms with videos from across the brands and help continue to grow CNBC video on those platforms
• Brainstorm initiatives and ideas to increase CNBC awareness on OTT and external platforms
• Assist in managing the archive process of original productions
• Facilitate repairs of company owned equipment
• Assist with the camera inventory checkout process
Qualifications
/Requirements
• At least one year of editing experience with editing tools such as Avid and/or Premiere
• Familiarity with the OTT platform and video distribution tools
• An understanding of video curation and how video is shared across platforms
• Experience with handling various cameras and other video equipment
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.
