Description

The Strategy Advancement Advisor provides data-based strategic direction t identify and address business issues and opportunities. Leads and provides strategy on recurring executive level updates related security posture within firm. Develops materials to clearly articulate critical information related to security and risk to executive audiences while transforming technical data into a compelling story. Provides business intelligence and strategic planning support for functional executives within Enterprise Information Protection. The Strategy Advancement Advisor works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities


The Strategy Advancement Advisor brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and communicate . Develop well-designed executive presentations to summarize complex data points into easily digestible snippets that can be translated into clear actions for Humana to keep our executives and board informed.
Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.
Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Connect dots across all areas of security and risk, to drive a compelling integrated message related to performance, key threat, and risks to the firm to be communicated up to C- level executives.
Define, plan and executive on a strategic executive reporting and communication strategy that integrates with goals of the enterprise.
Defines and sets objectives and content of messages to be communicated in concert with the Enterprise Information Protection Leadership Team, corporate mission and objectives, as well as the objectives of employee, member, communications.
Monitors, coordinates, documents, and communicates progress toward achievement of business goals, objectives, strategies and action plan results.
Facilitates strategic and operational planning and implementation processes to assure that management is knowledgeable of process, goals, objectives and strategies.


Required Qualifications


a Bachelor's degree
8 or more years of technical experience
2 or more years of project leadership experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
5 years in Strategy, Consulting, or Communications
5 years of experience in fast moving, high tech business environment
Demonstrated capability to navigate a fast paced environment


Preferred Qualifications


2 years experience consulting or influencing executives
Experience driving business transformations
Experience working in the technology related field
Experience in Cyber Security and Risk
Experience working cross-functionally across other departments including communications, HR, etc.
Exceptionally interpersonal skills and high level of comfort ease working with senior leadership
