Description:
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. are currently seeking Production Assistants for the Video Production/Scoreboard Operations Department for the 2022 season. The Production Assistants primary responsibilities will be assisting and providing production support. This will allow the persons hired an opportunity to gain valuable and unique work experience. Production Assistants are paid by the hour and will work a maximum of 6 hours per shift. There are multiple positions available from April through October.
Responsibilities:
• Execute the Video Production department's needs
• Assist with pre-game location shoots, live field production, equipment setup, cable pulling, graphics input, in-game tape operation and statistic coordination
• Gather lineups, game notes, and statistics from the press box
• Assist Character Generator operator with data input
• Assist on field camera operators and in the out-of-town scoreboard
• Train on various production devices such as, slo-motion server, clip playback server, character generator, XDcam record/playback, hand held cameras and selecting statistics for batters.
• Create Scoreboard Messages and display scoreboard messages
• Linear and non-linear editing
• Generate file based video, links for emailing duplications
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
/Requirements:
• Flexible schedule that allows for the possibility of working any combination of days evenings, weekends and holidays
• Available for personal interview prior to the final decision
• Available to the entire duration needed by the Video Production Department
• Will follow the schedule set by the department and baseball schedule. This will require working home games and, on occasion, helping out with various tasks when the team is on the road
• Available to work 15-30 Hours per week
• Experience in studio or remote video production preferred
• Knowledge of Avid editing software a plus
• Knowledge frame sync, waveform and vectorscopes a plus
• Knowledge of video and audio patching a plus
• Must be detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal skills
• Self-starter and the ability to prioritize responsibilities
• Lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs. may be required
