IT Technical Documentation Internship- Summer 2022 (Hybrid)
Overview
This summer our Internship Program will be a hybrid program. A hybrid program means interns will be expected to come into their designated office location about 3 times a week. All internships will be hybrid unless explicitly stated as a remote opportunity.
(This Hybrid opportunity is located in Knoxville, Tennessee).
Responsibilities
Overview: Our department provides IT infrastructure globally for Discovery. Our team faces unique IT challenges with delivering standard Corporate applications along with broadcasting linear Television across the world.
Responsibilities:
The intern working with our team this semester will have a seat at the table to learn how IT projects are ingested, budgeted, developed, deployed, and supported. They will at the end of the internship have created functional documents around the infrastructure that teams will rely on to support the needs of the business.
Qualifications
* Must be currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship)
* Must be a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student
* Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
* Computer Science, English, Computer engineering.
* A good understanding of computer systems, application layer systems.
* Great communication skills with an understanding of technical documentation.

• We offer 12-week spring and summer opportunities
• Our Summer 2022 program will run from Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 to Friday, August 19, 2022.
• The?application deadline for Summer 2022 is Friday, March, 4th. After this date, we cannot guarantee your application will be reviewed for the position.
• Our internships are paid opportunities. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired.
• We do not require a cover letter- please do not submit one. Instead, demonstrate your passion for the position through your resume and interviews.
