Overview:
This position reports to Design Director of Brand Design, Nickelodeon Marketing. A large part of this role is working closely with executives, art directors and project managers to build brand centric presentations for executive-level meetings, industry events, client presentations and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
include and are not limited to:
• Provide artistic direction and contribute significantly to the design, development, production, and timely delivery of presentations
• Strong eye for typography and layout
• Ensure high quality design in all deliverables are met to Brand standards
• Safeguard the Nickelodeon brand and support the creative visions of the company that drive brand love
• Explore and initiate new and exciting ways to communicate the Brand sensibilities. Be on the forefront of design that pushes boundaries and makes Nickelodeon the premiere destination for compelling design
• Research and source new design elements to improve the Brand (including fonts, color palettes, patterns, and other graphic materials, etc)
• Work with the Nickelodeon Line of Business in crafting and implement creative materials to fulfill their business needs
• Coordinate various projects simultaneously and work with designers from kickoff to execution
• Source new talent and resources to support the brand and its growth including designers, character artists, production support and outside vendors
• Meet with project managers and strategy leads to discuss new projects including goals, budgets and delivery date
• Successfully communicate ideas and feedback to a team of designers
• Delegate work among designers
• Communicate with outside vendors on projects when needed
• Expand the Brand's dedication to Diversity and Inclusion efforts
Basic Qualifications:
• 6 years of Designer experience
Additional Qualifications:
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficient in Sharepoint, Keynote, Powerpoint and Google Slides
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Values team engagement and will positively contribute to and built work culture
• Agile under tight deadlines
• Has a keen eye for details
• Is flexible and adaptable to the changing landscape of our work
• Is resourceful and a problem solver
