Profile

Design a new website for jazz musician
Preferably you speak German - this request is only for the design of the website, outcome is a design a developer can use to implement the page. Implementation is not part of this project
I am a jazz musician and teacher and need a beautiful, responsive, new website covering the following:
- reflecting my creativity as a musician while being very professional
- a modular layout allows that content from the sub pages is directly shown on the main page (example: under CDs I have my ten albums and I want to be able to click on one of the content boxes (which is for one CD) and it shows up on the home page
- I want to have my albums, gigs (in a tabular view), biography, videos & pictures, teaching and a current project on a subpage each (in the future it could a bit more or less)
- I am thinking of having on the subpages a flexible number of “box elements” which I can move around freely and which contain at the top either a picture, a video (from YouTube or Vimeo), a song or text, followed by text. The title can be above the first element or below - it just needs to be beautiful. I need to be able to feature up to one of the “box elements” (see inspiration below)
- Songs can be from Soundcloud, bandcamp or MP3 I upload myself
- On my biography page I need to be able to put text and pictures, the pictures should upon click get bigger
- For my gigs I expect that the 4 next gigs, show up automatically on the homepage (in a box element). On the gigs subpage I can have as many upcoming (which are sorted oldest to newest) and past (sorted newest to oldest) gigs as I want. The gig should move by itself on the next day to the past table. A gig consists of date, location and band/comment, I need to be able to link to other pages
- My current website is here: [login to view URL]
and for the new page I will focus on the initial page, meaning that everything that comes under last navigation point “Michael Jaeger Kerouac” will be ignored. The new design should be completely independent of my old page
- The whole page will be in German but I want one subpage to be in English
- From the homepage the English subpage should be accessible with one click
- I expect that if the browser is set to English the english subpage is immediately shown. If the browser is not english, normal home page is shown which will be in German
- I have a facebook page but only need to link to it. No like functionality is needed
As inspiration, I really like
- the style of [login to view URL]
with its modular layout and its amazing use of fonts
- my other small page is [login to view URL]
which will stay independent of my new page
Technical
- my other page is made with Kirby ([login to view URL]
) it would be ideal if the new page is also made with Kirby
- I have a php server with mySql that you will get authorised on (from [login to view URL]
- I need Google Analytics integrated, including the Cookie notice in a non obtrusive way
- I need to be able to set meta tags and other search engine relevant content (I really like how Kirby does that)
REQUEST
- I need a graphic designer for the web design and envision a different expert as web developer to actually build the page. The design I want finished by end of June, including many iterations until I love the design. Afterwards the building should be done within 3 to 4 weeks
