JOB DESCRIPTION
The Production Manager will provide end-to-end production solutions for internal stakeholders and external partners. The Production Manager oversees production requirements and address all logistical issues related to the development and production of National Geographic CreativeWorks best-in-class branded content programs and campaigns. The ideal candidate excels at managing multiple simultaneous projects, with budgets ranging from $500K - $5M , and successfully navigating production requirements for various platforms, including traditional linear, streaming, short form digital and social media. The Production Manager must have experience in and the ability to lead a variety of production related matters, such as Disney compliance, budgets and approvals, production schedules and timelines, legal and contracts and overall production solutions per project. We're looking for an energetic and collaborative team member to help keep the fast-paced creative team on track through final deliverables. The Production Manager is an essential leader of all content assets and how content is produced by CreativeWorks.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7 years experience in video-based production and/or project management
• Minimum of 7 years experience in linear television project management
• Knowledge of production differentiators between on-air, digital, and social deliverables
• Must be a team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advertising and/or branded content production and/or campaign management experience
• Multiplatform content production and/or campaign management experience
• Media company experience
• Experience leading projects within a matrixed organization, especially Advertising Sales
• Experience supporting client services, with associated scopes of work
Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education:
• Degree or related coursework in Media, Marketing, Advertising, or Content Production
