Suzuki Violin Instructor Part-time

Profile

: POSITION: Powers Music School seeks an experienced Suzuki violin instructor with outstanding abilities to teach students of all ages. The initial position is for a 2 to 3-month substitute with the potential for continuing as a permanent part-time position.
Duties
: DUTIES:
- Teach private lessons.
- Teach group classes based on department need.
- Must be available for Saturday classes and preferably for Friday private lessons.
- Meet regularly with Suzuki faculty.
- Collaborate with Suzuki faculty for group classes, recitals, and special events.
Qualifications
: QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in performance, pedagogy or equivalent work experience.
- Documented successful teaching experience.
- Effective communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Minimum Book 4 Suzuki certification required.
Salary
: COMPENSATION: $50 – 58 / hour, based on experience and qualifications.
