Suzuki Violin Instructor

Profile

: Suzuki Violin Instructors are primarily responsible for providing individualized private lesson instruction utilizing Suzuki methodology to students and their parent(s). They may also teach group classes for parents and/or students. Participate as appropriate in recitals and special events.
Duties
: Teach private violin lessons utilizing Suzuki methodology and sustain student progress. Teach Suzuki student and/or parent group classes as requested. Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with colleagues (administration and faculty), students, and families.
Qualifications
: Master of Music or Master of Music Education degree or equivalent experience. Suzuki training is required through book 4 at minimum. Dalcroze or other appropriate certifications are helpful but not required. Minimum of 5 years professional experience preferred working in community arts education.
Salary
