Write eye-catching headlines and blog posts
Manage and collaborate with Associate Editor
Edit blog posts
Collaborate on social media promotion of website content
Manage and write social media posts
Create reports on social media engagement & strategy
Choose Getty photos for articles and blog posts
Monitor competitive broadcasts, cable and digital platforms
Deliver objectives and key results aimed at website growth
Qualifications
/Requirements
• Minimum 3 years editorial production experience at a network, cable or digital outlet
• Proficient on all social media outlets
• Solid working knowledge of TV production, affiliates & satellite operations
• Working knowledge of microwave & satellite trucks, live-u, b-gan, mcds
• Strong news judgment & communication skills are essential
Additional Requirements:
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and overnights, under tight deadline pressure, occasionally with little or no warning (e.g. breaking news).
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
