Part Time Unpaid Internship
What You Will Do:
• Assist in creating content for social media, website and broadcast, quickly producing and editing post-game content.
• Capturing footage to package into a produced video pieces for brand, partnership and marketing initiatives as needed.
• Organize, logging gameday footage and uploading to box for distribution.
• Act as a production assistant on shoots
• Assist the Content department on other projects as assigned
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance
What We Need From Our Intern:
• Proficient in Adobe CS- Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Strong skills in videography
• Must be able to capture captivating content and tell concise, visually pleasing stories, be able to shoot with various cameras, and then turn the footage into a quality edited piece
• Must be comfortable capturing footage and turning content pieces in a timely manner
• General knowledge of basketball terminology
• Understanding of proper lighting, color correction, audio correction
• Knowledgeable or understanding of motion graphics and video editing
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate production hours (nights and weekends)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented including proofreading skills and excellent organization skills
• Proficient in Mac & PC
• Possess high integrity and ability to maintain confidential information
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or pursuing one currently in videography / editing
• Experience in high-paced production environments preferred

• Traditional business hours with occasional weekends, evenings, some holidays and some overtime to meet business needs
• Approximately 20-30 hours per week
• You must have housing in the Phoenix metro area for the duration of the internship (Housing will not be provided by **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and Phoenix Mercury)
• Indoor work
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to walk short/long distances
• Climb Stairs
• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
• Work Indoors, away from the elements
• Ability to work and communicate in noisy environments
• Ability to judge distance
• This role is computer based and will require extended periods of time working in front of a computer screen
• Capable of distinguishing colors and shades of color
• Capable of listening carefully and speaking to others on the tele**** in the application.
