OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The CBS Media Ventures (CMV) Media Sales and Partnership research teams collaborate with the sales, marketing, and distribution of the digital multicast lifestyle network Dabl and the most popular syndicated programming including Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Family Feud and Entertainment Tonight. The team also provides the sales support for NuTime Media an MBE Certified Black-Owned Media Ad-Sales Representation which specializes in the African American entertainment segment and media landscape. As a key member of the research team, you will use your analytic skills to provide insights to the sales team and programming stakeholders.Â
Responsibilities
include but not limited to:Â
- Â Create, manage, and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of effective tracking reports for the CMV and Dabl sales and programming teamsÂ
- Â Collaborate with the sales and marketing force to create thoughtful, effective decks in answer to their client's RFPs
- Â Create presentations and one-sheets for the CMV, Dabl and NuTime media sales force
- Â Track and analyze our digital propertiesÂ
- Â Investigate and resolve internal and external data discrepancies
- Â Report on social insights and trends for our properties
- Â Analyze and provide trending for our properties on our OTT partners
- Â Create and maintain audience estimates for CMV and Dabl programs
- Â Assist in the stewardship of Dabl programming in Wide Orbit
- Â Track local market viewership using Wrap Sweeps/Overnights
- Â Provide ongoing updates to senior management about the progress of each project.
- Â Manage analysts
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Â 5-10 years' experience in media research
- Â Proficient using research platforms such as Nielsen NPower, NNTV, Ad Intel, Wrap Sweeps/Overnights, MRI and Comscore
- Â Highly skilled in MS Excel, and able to manipulate large data sets, PowerPoint and Word
- Â Able to extract and craft sales stories from all licensed third-party data
- Â Experience working with large datasets
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Â Detailed knowledge of the national syndication marketplace highly preferred
- Â Bachelor's degree preferred
- Â Ability to work independently and resolve problems
- Â Excellent interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills
- Â Ability to take charge under pressure and prioritize projects appropriately
- Â Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail is crucial
- Â Knowledge of Wide Orbit
- Â Digital experience (Adobe Analytics) a plus!
- Â Management/supervisory experience
