Streaming, Paramount International Curation
Paramount is a global digital subscription video streaming service from ViacomCBS that features a mountain of premium entertainment for audiences of all ages. Internationally, the streaming service features an expansive library of original series, hit shows and popular movies across every genre from world-renowned brands and production studios, including SHOWTIME, BET, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures and the Smithsonian Channel, in addition to a robust offering of premier local content. The service is currently available in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, the Nordics and Australia. By the end of 2021, ViacomCBS will have launched Paramount in 25 markets, ramping up to 45 markets by 2022.
Overview and Responsibilities
The department coordinator reports to the Vice President of Paramount International Curation and supports the team. The department coordinator is comfortable collaborating with a large, multi-layered organization, and works closely with many support groups within the department and elsewhere at ViacomCBS.Â
In this role, the department coordinator manages the day-to-day operations of the team, including organizing calendars, meetings, travel and expenses, and tracking freelancer contracts and timesheets. It's imperative that the department coordinator be adept at problem solving and efficiency, as they serve as the main conduit for information within the group, as well as the larger organization.
While this is generally a daytime job, we occasionally need coverage for evenings, weekends and holidays.
Basic Qualifications
• 1-2 years of experience (strong internship experience considered)
• Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
• Exceptional organizational skills with ability to multitask, properly prioritize and meet deadlines
• Highly motivated and resourceful self-starter with excellent follow-through skills
• Proven ability to maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively in a demanding and fast-paced environment
• Ability to anticipate and properly resolve administrative issues/problems without relying on senior executives' input or direction, and understanding when senior executive input/direction is appropriate and/or required
