Digital & Social Strategy Internship- Summer 2022 (Hybrid)
Overview
This summer our Internship Program will be a hybrid program. A hybrid program means interns will be expected to come into their designated office location about 3 times a week. All internships will be hybrid unless explicitly stated as a remote opportunity.
(This Hybrid opportunity is located in New York City or Los Angeles).
Opportunities you could be considered for may include (but are not limited to):
Responsibilities
In the Multiplatform department, we explore the ever-evolving world of digital and social strategy for the Science, Discovery, and Animal Planet brands and networks. We not only handle promotion of shows and corporate tentpoles like Shark Week, but we also curate brand presence on platforms like TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and more. We create communities of science-lovers, explorers, and more and feed their curiosity with cutting-edge activations and campaigns.
For this internship, the candidate can expect to be an integral part of our busy summer months. You will take part in show and tentpole promotion from strategic brainstorming to episode screening to social posting. You can expect to use your love and deep knowledge of social media to inform new and exciting ways we can use the platform and follow trends. Bonus points if you love sharks! At the end of the semester, you will hopefully be able to see evidence of your participation in a project that is a part of the cultural zeitgeist.

* Must be currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship)
* Must be a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student
* Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
