But before you get enrolled you are required to judge yourself keeping certain parameters in your mind. First and foremost let me tell you that not all can achieve success as a music composer, singer or a designer of art. So to become one you must first have a creative bent of mind and along with it you must have the potential of spotting the current trends and styles in music composition. The course will teach you music composition, theory, history of music and performance. But to succeed as composer, you must also have the ability to grasp techniques that are in vogue and then produce a product that is also borne out of your imagination and that is a pre-requisite if you wish to succeed.
So if you have a degree in art or in design spotlight music, a gamut of opportunities lies before you. You can become a singer, composure, lyricist, music jockey, music journalist or music therapist and also become an artist manager or a public relations officer for a music company.
Most universities provide campus placement but if you are unable to bag one after completion, running around with your resume from one company to another will do no good. You are therefore required to appear in competitions, give auditions and this way you can add some credibility. You can first try out some freelancing for companies or individuals and then add your accolades in your resume. This way the companies will be able to look at some of your creations and can employ you after making a judgment.
